In one line
Echoplasm is a spectral delay you paint: columns are frequency bands, rows are repeats on the song’s tempo grid, and brightness is how loud each repeat is.
In a paragraph
Most spectral delays blur into a wash. Echoplasm locks every repeat to the beat, band by band, and lets you paint the pattern on a pixel canvas, in a look borrowed from Mac OS 8 and MacPaint. Every colour is its own kind of echo (panned, reversed, granular, shimmering or diffused), up to 32 canvases can be sequenced in time with the song, and any picture can be imported as a pattern. Patterns export as GIFs that open again exactly.
